On December 18 2006, Lagerfeld announced the launch of a new collection for men and women dubbed K Karl Lagerfeld. The collection includes fitted T-shirts and a wide range of jeans. 'T-shirts and jeans are the base of modern dressing,' says Karl Lagerfeld whose line is in its second season. The Chanel creative director has designed an urban wardrobe of tailored blazers, leather biker jackets, gloss-coated skinny jeans, and fitted t-shirts in a chic monochrome palette. Look out for the graphic K logo on buttons, zips and rivets.
